Columbia, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling Lions traveled to Columbia, SC to take on Allen University in their first dual of the season. The Lions jumped out of the gate strong, but the Yellow Jackets responded well to take the 24-22 victory. With the loss, the Lions fall to 1-2 on the season. 
 
The Lions ended the night two victories by fall and two by tech fall. 
 
HIGHLIGHTS

• In the 125 lb. weight class, Emmanuel's Alex McMiller won via fall (4:11).
• In the 133 lb. weight class, Gavin Mastrangelo won via TF (15-0, 1:49).
• In the 174lb. weight class, Michael McCarthy won via fall (0:44).
• In the 285lb. weight class, Jacob King won via TF (16-1, 7:00). 

 
The Lions will be back in action this weekend at the Life Open on Saturday.
