Franklin Springs, GA – In their first Conference Carolinas contest of the season, the Emmanuel Men's Soccer team had a defensive battle with Belmont Abbey that ended in a draw, 0-0. 
 
The Lions out-shot the Crusaders 11-10, with Emiliano Meza Eboli, Ross Lamont, Tomas Pollacchi, and Ignacio Doldan each getting a shot on goal. 
 
Natxo Faus ended the night with four saves. 
 
With the draw, the Lions improve to 1-0-2 on the early season.
 
Emmanuel will be back in action next Saturday (9/21) at Young Harris at 7PM.
