FRANKLIN SRINGS, GA – Earlier today, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced their All-Region teams and two Emmanuel Lions were recognized.
 
Freshman setter, Maruša Pešut was named the Southeast Region Freshman of the Year following a stellar freshman campaign, while redshirt junior, Ellie Jackson was named First Team All-Region.
 
Against the seven regionally ranked teams the Lions faced in 2025, Pešut tallied a total of 204 assists (9.27a/s), 57 digs (2.59 d/s), and 13 blocks. Jackson had a total of 92 kills (4.18 k/s) and 75 digs (3.41 d/s) while hitting .239 in those matches. 

A highlight from the Lion's regional schedule was their 3-0 sweep over Augusta University. The Jaguars will be the 6^th seed in the NCAA DII Southeast Regional Tournament. 

The #8 seeded Lions will be back in action tomorrow evening at 7PM as they face #1 seed, Wingate University in Regional Tournament play.
