Lions Take Down Bluefield State 37-6!

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Wrestling team hosted Bluefield State University tonight in conference action. The Lions took the lead early and cruised to their first conference win of the season, 37-6. 

RESULTS 
  • At 103 lbs. Rebekah Jean-Baptiste (Emmanuel) def. Maria Gonzales (Bluefield State) by tech fall, 12-1 (2:16). 
  • At 117 lbs. Haley Zinninger (Emmanuel) def. Maria Gonzales (Bluefield State) by decision, 8-4. 
  • At 131 lbs. Isabella Hoffman (Emmanuel) def. Emma Flanagan (Bluefield State) by tech fall, 10-0 (0:22). 
  • At 138 lbs. Samantha Patton (Emmanuel) def. Paige Altizer (Bluefield State) by fall (0:02).
  • At 145 lbs. Aalijah Pineda (Emmanuel) def. Charniece McClarence (Bluefield State) by fall (1:39). 
  • At 180 lbs. Alexzandriyah Kekoanui (Emmanuel) def. Megan Pendergrass (Bluefield State) by fall (2:26).
