Franklin Springs, GA - - - For the first time, the Emmanuel University women's triathlon team hosted a triathlon on the campus of Emmanuel University. Three teams (Emmanuel, Alabama, Milligan) competed in a Sprint triathlon (500-yard swim, 10-mile bike, 2-mile run).

For the team score, each team combined the time of their 3 fastest athletes, lowest total-time wins. Emmanuel won the team title!

In the individual places, Emmanuel swept the top 3 podium. Rica Botz (Emmanuel) finished 3rd in 56:50, Antonia Vasquez (Emmanuel) finished 2nd in 54:06, and Daniela Lincango (Emmanuel) finished 1st overall with a winning time of 53:23, in her first triathlon as a lion!
