KINGSPORT, TN – The Emmanuel Men's Swimming team continued action in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship. The events swam tonight were the 400 IM, 100 Butterfly, 200 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Backstroke and 400 Medley Relay. 

RESULTS

• In the 400 IM, Jan Michalak finished 2^nd with a time of 4:03.69 with Joshua Barreto finishing 3^rd with a time of 4:07.53.
• In the 100 Butterfly, Hayden Lester finished 6^th with a time of 51.76.
• In the 200 Freestyle, Arda Hulagu finished 6^th with a time of 1:42.37.
• In the 100 Breaststroke, Maximiliano Benitez finished 2^nd with a time of 55.25.
• In the 100 Backstroke, Mateus Lopes finished 1^st with a time of 49.48.
• In the 400 Medley Relay, the Lions team of Lopes, Benitez, Leonardo Medeiros, and Jakub Mecner finished 3^rd with a time of 3:22.36.

 
Following Day 3, the Lions sit in 3^rd place with 409 points, behind Montevallo (440) and Converse (426.5).

The final day of action will begin tomorrow morning at 10AM  with finals at 5PM!
