Wilson, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Soccer team traveled to Wilson, NC to face Barton College in conference play. The Lions took the lead early on an on-goal by Barton to take a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. The Bulldogs tied things up early in the 2
nd half, but
Jillian Aldrich found the back of the net to push the Lions lead to 2-1, which would be the final score. With the win, the Lions move to 2-4-1 on the season, 2-1-1 in conference play. The Bulldogs came into the game sitting at 5-2 overall, 3-1 in conference action.
Midway through the 1
st half, an on-goal by the Bulldogs gave the Lions a 1-0 lead to head into halftime. In the first half, the Lions were outshot 15-3. In goal, Kylie Warren-Young picked up 5 saves in goal.
In the 2
nd half, the Bulldogs tied the game in the 47
th minute to make the score, 1-1. After a goalkeeping substitution, Ana Ramirez-Cortes came in and collected 5 saves in the final 30 minutes of play. At 74:21,

nd half, the Bulldogs outshot the Lions, 13-1. On the game, the Bulldogs had 12 shots on goal compared to 3 for the Lions.
