Last night at North Greenville University our Ladies basketball team continued their fast beginning to the new season with another big win by a score of 71-66. This win was the ladies fifth in a row and second in the new Conference Carolinas schedule. The ladies were led in scoring by sophomore Elise Coberly with 15 points and 8 rebounds followed by senior Skye Rogers with 14 points and 10 rebounds while freshman Mikayla Trombley and sophomore Timia Reynolds each finished with 12 points each. The ladies trailed 40-34 at the half but out scored the opposition 37-26 in a strong second half to secure the win. Coach Bona when asked about the game said,"This was a tough hard fought game on the road. I was really pleased with way our ladies responded to the challenge and continued to stay intentional and engaged throughout the entire game." The ladies are off the rest of this week before they return for another road game at Barton College on Monday December 1 at 5:30pm. Go Lions!
