Our Emmanuel Ladies basketball team lost to eighth ranked nationally Limestone University in a tightly contested game last night by a score of 69-62 held at the Shaw Athletic Center on the campus of Emmanuel College.

The game was a game of spurts by both teams trying to get an advantage as the game moved along. With just over two minutes left in the game our ladies scored to cut the lead to two points but never got any closer before having to foul to end the contest.

Our ladies were led in scoring by sophomore Elise Coberly with 20 points followed by Junior Alecia Fagin with 12 points. Freshman Mikayla Trombley had 9 points and 8 rebounds.

The ladies next game is this Saturday at Southern Wesleyan University for a 2:00pm tip off. Go Lions!
