Franklin Springs, GA – The Lady Lions came into Thursday night's game with a 5-1 overall record and a 2-1 conference record. Coming off of their first loss this season, the Lions hoped to get back on their winning streak. A tough matchup against the Tornado's of King University put them in a tough position as they played their 4th conference match of the season.

The first quarter started with a successful jump shot from Avery Scarbrough and a few points from Timia Reynolds to put the Lions on the scoreboard.  King was able to pull off 8 more point than the Lions, however, taking an early lead. As action continued into the second quarter, King advanced their lead even more to put them up by 10 points at 21-11 before the Lady Lions fought their way back with a couple three pointers and some free throws to tie up the score 24-24. The third quarter saw Elise Coberly with 8 points of her own, but the Tornado's gained the lead again putting them up by 10. The fourth quarter went well for Addie McNeely as she put up 10 points for the Lions. King was only able to score on a layup and jump shot, but the forced free throws gave them an additional 6 points, giving King the victory 51-57.

The Lady Lions were led by Addie McNeely with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists followed by Elise Coberly with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 1 assist.
