BELMONT, N.C. - The Lady Lions fell short 76-59 on Friday afternoons game against Belmont Abbey.

The Crusaders grabbed the lead early on in the first quarter and never slowed down. With a 23 point lead late in the 4th quarter, the Crusaders cruised to a 76-59 victory. 

Avery Scarbrough (#44) had her season high of 14 points for the Lions, but it wasn't enough to faze the Crusaders. Hanna Grogan (#31) followed closely behind with 12 points.

The Lions hope to change their luck on Tuesday, Jan. 9th when they take on conference foe Erskine.
