DUE WEST, S.C. - The Emmanuel College women's basketball team defeated conference opponent Erskine College, 74-54 on Tuesday night. This win brings the Lions record to 14-5 overall, 9-3 conference.

Senior Taylor Delasbour opened up the first quarter with 10 points, hitting 100% of her shots. With another 10 points contributed from her team, the Lions found themselves trialing by just 3 points in the quarter. Emmanuel improved their shooting in the second quarter to 62.5% from the floor to outscore their opponent and take the lead before half time, 35-33.

Upon returning to the court, the Lions continued to put pressure on the Flying Fleet by widening their lead. Senior Lochlain Corliss put up another 10 points in the third quarter, thrusting the Lions to their highest scoring period. Emmanuel went on to close out the game 74-54.

Delasbour led all players with 23 points.

Next up, the Lions will take on conference opponent Belmont Abbey on the road, Saturday, January 2nd.
