FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College women's basketball team captured the 2019 Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Championship on Friday night with a 69-57 victory over Belmont Abbey College.

This marks the programs first ever Conference Carolinas Championship. This impressive feat comes in just their first year of postseason eligibility. With this win, the Lions earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Championship. 

Three ladies represented Emmanuel on the All-Tournament Team with Senior Lochlain Corliss leading the pack as the 2019 Championship MVP. Also earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team was Senior Taylor Delasbour and Sophomore Hanna Grogan.
