Franklin Springs, GA - Emmanuel Lady Lions Tennis Team got back in action in less than 24h after taking down the Crusaders.

The back to back competition days did not seem to disturb the EC Team today at all! The day started with doubles action where Emmanuel got a win by default on court #3 and the first overall point came in flash on court #2 with a flawless 6-0 win.

With the lead, EC captured another 5 wins in singles play. First by the hands of the Junior Marta Barreiro on court #4 by 6-2 6-4 and then by Maria Raich on court #1 in straight sets by a double 6-3. Selina Donecker got the next point after a quick first set but facing a more determined opponent in the second set. Donecker closed the deal eventually by 6-1 6-3. The freshman Alejandra Guerrero got another point for EC in close match who ended in favor of the Lady Lion by 7-6 7-3. Emmanuel also got a point by default on court #6.

This is the fourth win in four conference events for EC this season. The team will be back in action in another conference Carolinas event this Tuesday, now facing the Southern Wesleyan Universtiy Warriors!
