Box Score Franklin Springs, GA - The Emmanuel College Women's Lacrosse team hosted Coker University for it's home debut of the 2023 Season. The Lions come into this game afer a tough loss on the road to open the season against Mars Hill Univesity. With the strong home crowd behind them, the Lions ran away with the victory 15-10.

Justine Dorelas lead the Lady Lions scoring five of the fifteen goals and assisting on two of them. In the first quarter of play, the battle would begin tight as neither team would be able to pull away. The Lions would quickly settle their first home game jitters as they would begin to pull away in the second quarter, going into halftime up by 2 points. Coker would open up the third quarter of play with a score quickly followed by two scores by the Lady Lions. Emmanuel would run away with the game in the final quarter of play as Meghan Jennings, Lauren Kushel, Anna Gill and Justine Dorelas would score the las four goals in the final six minutes of play.

The Lions will travel to Newberry College on Wednesday, February 15th. The game is set to begin 4:00pm.
