Winston-Salem, NC – The Emmanuel Men's Track & Field team were back in action on Saturday at the JDL Fast Track for the JDL Early Bird Invitational. 

The Lions performed well with several athletes placing in the top 10 in their events.

HIGHLIGHTS

In the 60M, junior, Evan Deaton finished in 8th place with a time of 7.13.  Junior, Cam Scott finished in 8th overall in the 200M with a time of 23.28 and senior, Marcus Purcell finished 1st in the 400M with a time of 50.63. 

In the high jump, junior, Orian Forrest finished 4th with a jump of 2.00m and the 4x400 relay made up of John-Clayton Reed, Lashaun Gibbons, Jesse Official and Marcus Purcell finished in 4th place. 

Next up, the Lions will compete in the Mondo College Invitational at the JDL Fast Track on January 18.
