Box Score Bristol, TN – The Emmanuel Women's Tennis team traveled to Bristol, TN to take on the King University Tornado in conference play. The Lions got off to a strong start, sweeping the doubles matches and continued their momentum into singles play, taking the match 7-0. With the win, the Lions improve to 6-7 overall, 2-1 in Conference play. 
 
DOUBLES PLAY – 

1. At #1 doubles, Shatavisa Ghosh/Tawana Senah (EMM) def. D. Aytun/M. Koricinova (KING) 6-3
2. At #2 doubles, Zyanya Rogel/Alejandra Guerrero (EMM) def. M. Ortega/L. Belcher (KING) 6-1
3. At #3 doubles, Anna Goncalves/Victoria Rodriguez (EMM) won by default. 

 
SINGLES PLAY 

1. At #1 singles, Darja Chistov (EMM) def. D. Aytun (KING) in three sets, losing the first, 6-3 then taking the next two, 6-1, 10-6. 
2. At #2 singles, Sabina Roua (EMM) def. M. Koricinova (KING) winning the first, 6-4, then losing the second set, 6-4, before taking the tiebreaker, 11-9. 
3. At #3 singles, Anna Goncalves (EMM) def. M. Ortega (KING) 6-2, 6-2. 
4. At #4 singles Chloe Smith (EMM) def. L.Belcher (KING) 6-3, 6-0. 
5. At #5 singles, Victoria Rodriguez won by default. 
6. At #6 singles, Zyanya Rogel won by default.
