Box Score Sumter, SC – The Emmanuel Women's Tennis team squared off against Belmont Abbey in their second match of the Conference Carolinas tournament. The Crusaders got off to an early lead, winning the doubles point but the Lions roared back in singles play. The Crusaders however, earned three wins in singles play to take the match 4-2.
 
DOUBLES PLAY 

1. At #1 Doubles, H. Riner/T. Reid (BAC) def. Darja Chistov/Sabina Roua (EU) 7-6. 
2. At #2 Doubles, E. Vollmin/L. Sanchez (BAC) def. Anna Goncalves/Victoria Rodriguez (EU) 7-6. 
3. At #3 Doubles, A. Burkhalter/P. Sacarras (BAC) def. Zyanya Rogel/Alejandra Guerrero (EU) 6-2.

SINGLES PLAY 

1. At #2 Singles, Soleny Gonzales (EU) fell to K. Nguyen (BAC) dropping the first set, 6-3, winning the second, 6-4 and losing the third, 6-2.
2. At #3 Singles, H. Riner (BAC) def. Tawana Senah (EU) 6-4, 6-3. 
3. At #4 Singles, Shatavisa Ghosh (EU) def. K. Vaughn (BAC) 7-5, 7-5.
4. At #5 Singles, A. Burkhalter (BAC) def. Darja Chistov (EU) 6-3, 7-6.
5. At #6 Singles, Sabina Roua (EU) def. L. Sanchez (BAC) 6-2, 6-3.
