MEN'S BASKETBALL
COACH OF THE YEAR – TJ ROSENE
On the Men's side, Head Coach
TJ Rosene was named "Coach of the Year" for the third time in his tenure at Emmanuel. He previously earned the award in the 2018-19 season and again in 2020-21. Rosene helped guide this year's Lions crew to a 20-8 overall record, boasting an 18-2 conference play. The Lions are ranked #4 in NCAA DII in offensive scoring efficiency and #7 in NCAA DII in three-point percentage. The Lions went 8-0 in division play to win the Southwest Division, earning the 2
nd seed in the 2025 Atlantic Casualty Insurance Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship and a bye into the semifinals where they will face either Chowan or Barton at 7:30PM on Saturday evening.Â
FIRST TEAM ALL CONFERENCE – SPUDD WEBB
Tavarus "Spudd" Webb led the Lions in scoring with 549 points, averaging 19.6 points per game. He finished the season leading Conference Carolinas and ranked #21 nationally in assists per game with 5.2. Spudd was also named to the All-Conference Defensive Team averaging 5.9 rebounds per game which ranks 16
thin conference.
SECOND TEAM ALL CONFERENCE – KENDALL LATNEY
On the season,
Kendall Latney averaged 18.1 points per game, with a career high 34 points in a win vs. Mount Olive. Latney averaged 6.3 rebounds on the season which ranks 13
th in Conference Carolinas and ranks #28 in field goal percentage in NCAA DII (58.26).Â
THIRD TEAM ALL CONFERENCE – CHRIS DEES
Chris Dees was a lock for the Lions from three point range this season, ranking #4 nationally (NCAA DII) in three-point percentage (46.58) and 3-pointers per game (3.64). He averaged 14.5 points for the Lions this season.Â

WOMENS BASKETBALL
SECOND TEAM ALL CONFERENCE – ABBY CRAWFORDÂ
On the Women's team, senior guard
Abby Crawford earned a spot on the All-Conference Second Team. Crawford averaged 14.4 points per game which ranked 7
th in Conference Carolinas. Crawford led conference in free-throw percentage (85%) and ranked in the top 25 in conference for field goal percentage and 3-point field goals per game.
