  • Chris Dees finished 4th in Conference Carolinas and 10th in  NCAA DII in three-point field goal percentage (.453)
We caught up with Lions Head Coach, TJ Rosene on the Lions record-breaking season.

What were some highlights from the season?
A few highlights from the season included earning 21 wins and becoming the winningest program in the state of Georgia at any level over the last 3 years. This year marked our 3rd consecutive season making the conference championship and we finished the year with three All-Conference players in Spudd Webb, Kendall Latney, and Chris Dees.

What was your favorite memory of this season?
Traveling to Fort Lauderdale to play the National Champion, NOVA Southeastern. While there, the team was able to hang out and go the beach the days following the game. One of our favorite memories of the trip was everyone playing football on the beach.

Was there a point in the season where everything clicked for the team?
After a slow start of going 1-4 to start the season, we finished the regular season 19-4 which tied for the best record in conference.

What are you looking forward to next season?
We are looking forward to having a team of hungry guys that want to make in impact by winning on the court and impact people off the court as well. It will be exciting to see some of the new faces that will be in a Lions uniform mixed with the guys we have returning as we carry on the tradition and culture that has been built here at Emmanuel.

Congratulations, Lions on another fantastic season!
