FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA – Conference Carolinas announced their Preseason Coaches Poll for Men's Soccer this morning and the Emmanuel Lions came in at 5
th.
In 2024, the Lions finished 8-4-3 overall, 7-4-1 in conference play with quality wins against defending Conference Champion, Francis Marion and division rival, Young Harris.
Senior,
Tomas Pollacchi led the Lions with 6 goals, 5 assists and 16 points while graduate student,
Natxo Faus ended the season with 5 shutouts in goal. The Lions finished the season as the #5 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament, hosting Mount Olive in a tightly contested matchup that ended in a loss in penalty kicks.
In 2025, the Lions return 15, with 13 newcomers.
Defenders,
Colin Wedderburn and Pau Nel-Lo Recasens, and forward,
Rezhis Koxhaj were named Players to Watch in 2025 by Conference Carolinas.
The Lions will open their season on September 4
th as they travel to Lee University to take on the Flames at 7PM.
