SPARTANBURG, SC – The Emmanuel Women's Cross Country team kicked the season off at the Bruins Night XC Classic hosted by Bob Jones University. 
The Lions finished the race in 11^th of 13 teams with an average time of 18:27 in the 4K race. 

Aubrey Burnett led the way for the Lions with a 26^th place finish and a time of 16:40. Gracie Woods took 30^thwith a time of 16:47.
