MILL SPRING, NC – The Emmanuel Men's Track & Field team continued their indoor season over the weekend at the UNC Asheville Collegiate Opener. The Lions ran fast, with senior
Cam Scott recording a top Conference Carolina time in the 60M with a time of 6.96 and Antavious Lawton placing 1st in the 400M!
TRACK HIGHLIGHTS
- In the 400M, Antavious Lawton placed 1st with a time of 49.87, with teammate Rashid Silvera placing 5thwith a time of 51.22.
- In the 60M finals, senior Cam Scott placed 3rd with a time of 6.92 which is a top time in Conference Carolinas!
- In the 800M, freshman Alex Johnson placed 6th with a time of 2:07.31. Jaqaveon Brady finished with a time of 2:08.57 for an 8th place finish, while Everett Allegood finished 9th with a time of 2:17.90.
- In the 600M, Lawton placed 7th with a time of 1:32.85 while freshman, Jaqaveon Brady placed 8th with a time of 1:33.23.
- In the 200M, Scott placed 11th with a time of 22.91 with teammate Rashid Silvera placing 16th with a time of 23.26.
- In the 1000M, Angel Aviles finished 5th with time of 2:43.80 to lead the Lions.
FIELD EVENTS
Next up, the Lions will head back to Tryon Banked for the Tryon Banked Invitational on January 30
th.
