Myrtle Beach, SC – The Emmanuel Men's Track & Field team traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Conference Championship held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. The Lions ran well, with senior, Antavious Lawton leading the way with a 1^st finish and school record time in the 400M to be named Conference Champion. The Lions finished 13th  out of 15 teams.

RESULTS

• In the 400M, Antavious Lawton finished 1^st to be named Conference Champion with a time of 47.51 which was an NCAA DII top time.
• In the high jump, Jermaine Williams placed 4^th with a jump of 1.92m which was a top conference mark. 
• In the 200M, Lawton finished 8^th with a time of 23.86.
• In the 4x100 Relay, the Lions team of Cameron Scott, Mark Hayden, Evan Deaton and Lawton placed 6^th with a time of 42.33.
• In the 3000M Steeplechase, JeVareus Brown finished 6^th with a time of 10:04.98 which was a top conference time.
• In the long jump, Micah Underwood placed 11^th with a jump of 6.75m which was a top conference mark. 
• In the 4x400M Relay, the Lions team of Hayden, Angel Aviles, Demont'e Davis, and Alex Johnson placed 12^th with a time of 3:31.03.
• In the triple jump, Dontae Jones placed 16^th with a jump of 12.99m.
