Box Score ST. AUGUSTINE, FL – The Emmanuel Women's Lacrosse team opened their season tonight against top ranked Flagler College. The Saints controlled the pace of the game from the start, with Demi Czynski scoring a late goal for the Lions to make the final score 17-1. With the loss, the Lions fall to 0-1 on the season. 

The Saints opened the scoring taking an 11-0 lead in the first period of play.

The Lions defense tightened up in the second period, allowing only 2 goals in the second period to make it 13-0, Saints.

Flagler added two goals to their lead in the third period to go up 15-0 heading into the fourth. 

The Saints opened up the fourth period with a goal, but Demi Czynski got the Lions on the board with 1:15 to play in the game to make the final score, 17-1.

Emily Dawson and Avery Atkins shared time in goal with Dawson ending the night with 7 saves and Atkins picking up one.

The Lions will be back in action on February 11 as they travel to Cleveland, TN to face Lee University at 5PM.
