KINGSPORT, TN – The Emmanuel Men's Swimming team opened up action in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Championship held at the Kingsport Aquatic Center. 

Today's events included the 1000 Freestyle, 200 Medley Relay, and the 800 Freestyle Relay. The Lions finished the day in 2^nd place, 9 points behind Converse University, who currently sits in first place. 

RESULTS 

• In the 1000 Freestyle, Emmanuel's Samuel Moller finished 4^th with a time of 9:52.08. Yagiz Ari finished 6^th with a time of 9:54.10.
• In the 200 Medley Relay, the Emmanuel team of Mateus Lopes, Maximiliano Benitez, Leonardo Medeiros, and Jakub Mecner finished 3^rd with a time of 1:31.17. 
• In the 800 Freestyle Relay, the Emmanuel team of Noah Pruwer, Arda Hulagu, Jan Michalak, and Hayden Lester finished 4^th with a time of 6:58.23. 

Day two preliminaries will begin at 10AM tomorrow with finals beginning at 5PM.
