Franklin Springs, GA – The Emmanuel Men's Wrestling team hosted Shorter University tonight in conference action. The Lions jumped out to an early lead with a win at 133 and a forfeit win at 125. The Hawks got on the board with wins at 141 lbs., 157, 184, and 197 but the Lions picked up big points at 174 and 285 to earn the 26-16 win. With the win, the Lions improve to 7-6 on the season, 7-5 in conference.

• At 133 lbs. Alex McMiller (Emmanuel) def. Max Meredith (Shorter) by decision, 13-11. 
• At 149 lbs. Isiah Davis (Emmanuel) def. Ethan Ross (Shorter) by decision, 4-2. 
• At 165 lbs. Nate Stratton (Emmanuel) def. Jack Ponder (Shorter) by majority decision, 13-4. 
• At 174 lbs. Michael McCarthy (Emmanuel) def. Riley Davis (Shorter) by fall (1:41).
• At 285 lbs. Kobe Pablo (Emmanuel) def. Eli Kimball by majority decision, 16-8. 

 
Next, the Lions will face Davenport University at 7PM.
