MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Lions fell to Georgia College 16-8 on Tuesday afternoon.

Georgia College came out scoring seven runs in the first inning. The Lions recorded more hits than the Bobcats (16-14), but were not able to pull off the win.

Trent Jones and Hanon Price had three hits each for the Lions, and Price collected two runs and two RBI. Dacen Cash put in three RBI.

Alex Bollinger took the loss for the Lions, pitching only the first inning. Bollinger and Max Chadsey both collected two strikeouts.

The Lions return to action at home against Barton this weekend. First pitch for Friday is set for 4:30 PM, and Saturday at 12:00 and 3:30.
