Box Score TIGERVILLE, Sc. - The Emmanuel College Women's Lacrosse traveled to Tigerville, S.C. to take on the North Greenville Crusaders on April 6th.
The Crusaders set the tone early with a 4–0 lead in the first half. The Lions inched back and cut NGU's lead to two goals with a goal from Tara Larson with 10:23 left and Lara Russell with 9:36 left.
North Greenville answered right back, scoring eight consecutive goals with no response from the Lions making the score at half time 10-3.
The crusaders started the second half with a three-goal run which was then answered by Emmanuel's Hanna Hernandez.
North Greenville scored one more which was quickly answered by the lions Aleah Marijanich. North Greenville went on to score three more for the game to which Emmanuel answered with two more.
Tara Larson scored the last goal of the game making the final score 17-7, NGU.
The Lady Lions ended the game with 15 ground balls, 18 turnovers, 18 attempted shots and 13 draw controls. Goalie Tiana Machado had 7 saves.
The Lady Lions will take on the Belmont Abbey Crusaders at home for their next game on April 6th.
