FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College men's soccer team was defeated by Clayton State University 1-0 on Wednesday afternoon. This loss brings the Lions record to 7-3-1 overall, 4-1-1 in conference.

After a scoreless first half, Clayton State's Theo Blachon scored the only goal of the night to put the Lakers ahead 1-0. The Lions put up 9 total shots including 2 on goal, but were unable to find the net. Senior Channing Park narrowly tied up the game in the 88th minute with a bounced shot off the crossbar. 

The Lions will continue action on Saturday, October 19th at home against conference opponent Limestone.
