AIKEN, SC. - The Emmanuel College baseball team was defeated by USC Aiken on Wednesday night.

Emmanuel garnered 5 runs, 11 hits, 5 RBI's, and drew 4 walks in their 8-5 defeat. Travis Voelker doubled for the Lions while Will Pittman, Jorge Villalabos, and Dylan Letellier each had two singles. Luke Patty, Brody Campbell, Royce Peterson, and Brandon Taylor picked up a single apiece.

 

Five Lions split the mound and totaled 4 strikeouts while allowing 8 hits, 8 runs, and 3 walks. Thomas Rutherford recorded 2 strikeouts. Colton Bridges and Trey Campbell each had 1.

 

Next up, baseball will host conference opponent Limestone College on Friday, March 13th at 2:30pm.
