Marietta, GA - The Emmanuel Women's Wrestling team traveled to Life University to compete in the Eagles Madness Open. Five Lady Lion wrestlers finished the tournament with top five finishes in their respective weight classes. 
 
Highlights from the weekend included – 
 
ALYSSA ARANA (2^nd Place Finish | 180 lb. weight class)
 
Arana ended the event with a win by decision and one by tech fall to earn a 2^nd place finish. 
 
DRUZZLA JOHNSON (3^rd Place Finish | 207 lb. weight class)
 
Johnson earned three wins via fall and one by decision on her way to a 3^rd place finish. 
 
KARISSA TURNWALL (3^rd Place Finish | 117lb. weight class)
 
Turnwall finished the tournament with two victories via tech fall and two by fall on her way to a 3^rd place finish. 
 
RUBY EDWARDS (4^th Place Finish | 124 lb. weight class) 
 
Edwards ended the Open with three wins by fall, one by tech fall and one decision to finish the weekend in 4^thplace. 
 
GIANNA ANAYA (4^th Place Finish | 138 lb. weight class) 
 
Anaya collected three wins at the Open, two via decision and one by tech fall to earn a 4^th place finish.
