Winston-Salem, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Winston-Salem, NC over the weekend to compete in the JDL Flat is Fast Invite held at the JDL Fast Track. The Lions performed well against top competition, with sophomores, Morgan Hall and Rayven Thurston leading the way.
HIGHLIGHTS

• In the 200m, Hall finished in 11^th place with a time of 27.24. 
• In the 400m, Hall finished 10^th with a time of 1:04.21, while senior, Ashley Williams came in 19^th with a time of 1:07.55. 
• In the high jump, Rayven Thurston took home 13^th place with a jump of 1.33m. 
• In the long jump, Jai Piazza finished 3^rd with a jump of 5.37m. 
• In the triple jump, Thurston took home 9^th place with a jump of 10.21m. 

The Lions will be back in action on February 2^nd in Mobile, AL for the University of South Alabama Jaguar Invitational hosted at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
