Charlotte, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Charlotte, NC over the weekend to compete in the Charlotte 49er's Classic hosted by Charlotte University. The Lions ran well, earning several top 10 conference times on the weekend.
DAY ONE RESULTS
- In the pole vault, Macy Moore placed 7th with a vault of 2.85.
- In the 100M Hurdles, France Smith placed 10th with a personal best time of 14.68 which is the 2nd fastest time in Conference Carolinas.
- In the long jump, France Smith jumped a personal best, 4.99M.
- In the 400M, Taylor Johnson-Miller ran a personal best, 1:01.97 which is a top 10 conference mark.
- In the 1500M, Aubrey Barnett ran a 5:21.42 which is a personal best and a top 20 conference mark.
DAY TWO RESULTS
- In the high jump, France Smith placed 1st with a personal best jump of 1.58M which ranks 2nd in conference.
- In the shotput, Makena Donald threw a personal best of 9.72M which is a top 20 conference mark.
- In the 800M, Aubrey Barnett ran a 2:35.5 which was her personal best and ranks top 20 in conference.
- In the 200M, France Smith ran a 25.47 which is her personal best and ranks top 10 in conference.
Next up, the Lions will travel to Atlanta, GA to compete in the Emory Thrills in the Hills meet hosted by Emory University.
