Myrtle Beach, SC – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Conference Championship held at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium. The Lions ran well, with freshman, France Smith leading the way with a 2^nd place finish and school record time in the 100M Hurdles. The Lions finished 12^th out of 15 teams.

RESULTS

• France Smith placed 2^nd in the 100M Hurdles, earning a podium finish and breaking the Emmanuel school record with a time of 14.32. 
• In the long jump, Smith placed 4^th with a jump of 5.56m.
• In the high jump, Smith placed 5^th with a jump of 1.59m.
• In the 400M Hurdles, Smith finished 6^th with a time of 1:07.69.
• In the shotput, Makena Dodd placed 13^th with a throw of 10.57m. 
• In the hammer throw, Dodd placed 17^th with a throw of 24.77m.
