HICKORY, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Hickory, NC over the weekend to compete in the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational hosted by Lenoir Rhyne University. The Lions ran well as they prepare for the Conference Carolinas Championship on April 23-25^th.

RESULTS

• In the pole vault, Macy Moore finished 2^nd with a jump of 2.96m which was a top conference mark. 
• In the Heptathlon, France Smith placed 2^nd with 4551 points.
• In the 400M, Taylor Johnson-Miller placed 9^th with a time of 1:00.68.
• In the shot put, Makena Donald finished 10^th with a throw of 10.52m.
• In the Javelin, Donald placed 11^th with a throw of 24.68m.
• In the 200M, Jada Crocket finished 16^th with a time of 25.93.
• Crocket finished 18^th in the 100M with a time of 12.63.
• In the 1500M, Aubrey Barnett finished 19^th with a time of 5:33.77.
• In the 800M, Barnett finished 20^th with a time of 2:36.67.

 
Next up, the Lions will travel to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship from April 23-25^th.
