HICKORY, NC – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Hickory, NC over the weekend to compete in the Southside Power & Fitness Invitational hosted by Lenoir Rhyne University. The Lions ran well as they prepare for the Conference Carolinas Championship on April 23-25
th.
RESULTS
- In the pole vault, Macy Moore finished 2nd with a jump of 2.96m which was a top conference mark.
- In the Heptathlon, France Smith placed 2nd with 4551 points.
- In the 400M, Taylor Johnson-Miller placed 9th with a time of 1:00.68.
- In the shot put, Makena Donald finished 10th with a throw of 10.52m.
- In the Javelin, Donald placed 11th with a throw of 24.68m.
- In the 200M, Jada Crocket finished 16th with a time of 25.93.
- Crocket finished 18th in the 100M with a time of 12.63.
- In the 1500M, Aubrey Barnett finished 19th with a time of 5:33.77.
- In the 800M, Barnett finished 20th with a time of 2:36.67.
Next up, the Lions will travel to Myrtle Beach, SC to compete in the Conference Carolinas Championship from April 23-25
th.
