MOUNT BERRY, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Mount Berry, GA over the weekend to open Outdoor season at the Victor Ice Breaker Duals hosted by Berry College. The Lions ran well with several personal best times and were led by freshman, Fance Smith who continues to shine in short distance.
TOP TIMES
- In the 100M Hurdles, France Smith took 2nd with a time of 15.15 which is a top 20 time in Conference Carolinas.
- In the 400M Hurdles, Smith took 2nd with a time of 1:07.53 which is also a top 20 time in Conference Carolinas.
- The 4x100 Relay team of Crocket, Johnson-Miller, Smith and Bailee Stanley took 2nd with a time of 50.15.
- In the high jump, France Smith took 3rd with a jump of 1.56m.
- In the 400M, Taylor Johnson-Miller placed 4th with a time of 1:03.20.
- In the 100M, Jada Crocket finished 7th with a time of 12.85.
- In the 200M, Crocket finished 8th with a time of 26.05.
- In the long jump, Smith finished 10th with a jump of 4.88m.
- In the shotput, Makena Donald placed 15th with a throw of 9.44m.
PERSONAL RECORDS
- Smith hit personal best times in both the 100M Hurdles and 400M Hurdles.
