WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team competed in the Conference Carolinas Indoor Conference Championship over the weekend. The Lions were led by freshman, France Smith who finished 2^nd in the 60M Hurdles. The team finished 11^th out of 15 teams.

RESULTS

• France Smith finished 2^nd overall in the 60M Hurdles with a time of 8.90.
• Macy Moore finished 4^th in the pole vault with a college personal best of 3.02M (9 ft. 10.75 in).
• Gracie Woods finished 7^th in the 800M with a time of 2:28.58 which was a collegiate PR. 
• In the shot put, Makena Dodd threw a collegiate PR with a toss of 9.44m.

 
The Lions will be back in action on March 7 to kickoff outdoor track season at the Victor Icebreaker Duals in Mount Berry, GA!
