Atlanta, GA – The Emmanuel Women's Track & Field team traveled to Atlanta, GA this weekend to compete in the Emory Spring Break Classic. The Lions competed well, with several top finishers. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• In the Women's 5000M Open, Gracie Woods finished 3^rd with a time of 19:50.78.
• In the Women's 10000M, Paola Rubio finished 4^th with a time of 45:07.71. 
• In the Women's Long Jump, Valasha Carter finished 8^th with a jump of 5.35m.
• In the Women's 1500M Open, Gracie Woods finished 11^th with a time of 5.21.31. 
• In the Women's 4x200M relay, the Emmanuel team of Morgan Hall, Alexis Wilcher, Valasha Carter and Bailee Stanley finished 13^th with a time of 1:50.61.
• In the Women's Triple Jump, Valasha Carter finished 13^th with a jump of 10.73m.
• In the Women's 4x100m relay, Emmanuel's team of Alexis Wilcher, Valasha Carter, Jayda Spikes, and Morgan Hall finished 15^th with a time of 50.95. 

 The Lions will be back in action on Friday at the Gotta Run Invite hosted by Southern Wesleyan University.
