Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Emmanuel College Men's Lacrosse traveled to West Palm Beach, Florida to take on Palm Beach Atlantic University on March 10th.
The lions came out with heat starting the game with two goals by Justin Parker. The Sailfish quickly answered back and then went on a five-goal run to end the first quarter with a score of 5-2.
The lions failed to put and points up on the board in the second quarter and with PBA putting up five goals, they went into half time with a score of 10-2, Sailfish.
Lance Olson started the second half with a goal assisted by Cam Free. The sailfish quickly answered with one, but the lion's Cam Free and Alex Stull answered back with one a piece. The sailfish rattled off two more ending the third quarter with a score of 13-5
Palm Beach started of the last quarter with one goal, the only goal from them for the rest of the game. The lions fought back with Matt Casey, Tyler Machado, Alec Ammons, and Cam Free all scoring one apiece.
The lions ran out of time and fell short to the Sailfish with a final score of 14-9.
The Lions won 12 of the 27 faceoffs, had 40 ground balls, 27 turnovers and 33 shots.
The next game for the Lions will be at home against Montevallo on March 17th.
