FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College Men's Lacrosse team took on the University of Montevallo at home on March 17th.

The falcons started the scoring two minutes into the game. Alex Stull returned with Emmanuel's first goal making the score 1-1 with 8:04 left in the first quarter. The falcons then had two man-up opportunities and scored off them both. They scored once more to end the quarter with a score of 4-1.

The second quarter started with two goals from Montevallo, which were then answered by Emmanuel's Alex Stull with an assist from Justin Parker. One more goal from Montevallo sent the game into half time with a score of 8-2, falcons. 

The third quarter didn't consist of much scoring, Montevallo having two and Emmanuel having one goal from Alex Stull.

The final quarter started with a score of 11-3 and then the falcons added three goals to that. Emmanuel's Lance Olson and Justin Parker fired back with one goal apiece making it 13-5. The falcons went on to score five more goals to end the game with a score of 18-5, Montevallo.

The Lions won 11 of the 26 faceoffs, had 32 ground balls, 28 turnovers and 31 shots.

The next game for the Lions will be at home against Limestone on March 21st.
