Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - The Emmanuel College Men's Lacrosse team took on Limestone College on March 21st.
The Saints came out hot with two goals in the first two minutes. The run was shortly stopped by the lion's Cam Free making the score 2-1 with 11:20 left in the first quarter. The Saints went on to score four unanswered goals to end the first quarter with a score of 6-1.
The lions only put up one goal in the second quarter by Justin Parker, unassisted. The saints put up six more points, ending the quarter with a score of 12-2, saints.
The second half began, and the saints went on to score 4 more goals until Alex Stull stopped their streak with a goal assisted by Tyler Machado. Limestone's Scott Manning was unassisted in the last goal of the quarter making it 17-3.
The lions didn't put up any more points in the fourth quarter and the saints went on the score three more, ending the game with a score of 20-3
Ethan Brundage, Luke Harris, and Avery Lattimore all had time in the goal for the Lions. Harris ended with 10 saves while Lattimore had 6 and Brundage had 3.
The Lions won 8 of the 25 faceoffs, had 20 ground balls, 23 turnovers and 14 shots.
The next game for the Lions will be at away at North Greenville on March 24th.
