Box Score GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team hit the road to take on #2 Limestone College on Wednesday night where the Lions fell 19-4.
Lance Olson gave EC an early lead scoring first against the unbeaten Saints with 12:06 left in the first quarter. Limestone would score eight before the quarter break leading 8-1.
A pair of goals for the Saints would continue their scoring run which was halted in the final three minutes of the half when Alex Stull scored off a pass from Kylon Collins. Heading into the halftime break, EC was trailing 10-2.
The third quarter was all Limestone as they notched six goals in the third. Ethan Brundage held strong with seven saves in the third quarter alone. The Saints had a 16-2 lead heading into the final quarter.
Shamaz Durrant would be the first in the score column for the fourth with an immediate timeout called by the LC coaching staff. A pair of missed opportunities would call for another Saint's timeout in the fourth with just over eight to play. Matthew Mitchell stripped the Limestone defense during a clear leading to another EC goal by Travis Brave Heart. Limestone would score three more against the Lions taking the contest 19-4.

Shamaz Durrant notched a goal, three ground balls, and a caused turnover in the contest.

Emmanuel won the turnover column against the Saints 21-22. The 22 turnovers from Limestone ties the most turnovers in a game since before the 2017 season.
