Box Score FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Emmanuel College men's lacrosse team fell to the visiting Tornados of Brevard College on Wednesday in a 20-12 decision.
It was a one goal game after the first quarter with Brevard leading 5-4 over the Lions. Both Alex Stull and Allan Velasquez each had a pair in the quarter to keep an even score until the final 2:30 when BC scored the leading goal on a man-up opportunity.
The Tornados stormed into the second quarter with another pair of goals with 10:37 left in the first half. A near four-minute lull in scoring would be stopped as Kylon Collins scored one for EC. Brevard would answer, but Shamaz Durrant would score his first in the final two-minutes of the half. A pair of last minute goals from BC would give them a 10-6 advantage heading into the second half.
Brevard scored first in the third but were answered quickly by Collins who gathered his second of the game. A man-up goal for the Tornados would keep the separation for BC leading 12-7. Stull claimed his third of the match with nine and change left on the clock. He then found Travis Brave Heart for a goal to close within three of the Tornados. Two more Brevard goals would send them leading into the fourth 13-9.
In the final quarter of play, Stull scored on a man-up play to put the Lions into double-digits. The Tornados would go on to outscore EC 6-2 in the fourth to take the game 20-12.

Stull and Velasquez combined for 13 points against the Tornados.
